Debate Team

Our Debate Club is an opportunity for children to express their opinions, feelings and ideas in a polite and professional manner. It allows them to develop their communication skills and improve their confidence in public speaking. Competing in a debate club is an opportunity for the children to make new friends, accept differing opinions and put their own ideas forward in a polite and respectful manner. We meet regularly throughout the school year to debate different topics.   

In previous years, we have taken part in debates at Farnworth CE Primary School and Wade Deacon High School with a range of other local primary schools. These were fantastic opportunities for children to debate real life issues and arguments with their peers across Halton.
